Crazy



I once met this beautiful girl.
She had eyes that sparked like diamonds, the lips of an angel, and a smile that launched a thousand ships.
She drove me crazy.

But then, as time passed by, I eventually met another girl. This girl well, she was grotesque. She threw words that slashed my whole being like a ruthless tiger, had a soul that had to be cleansed, and a heart that didn't seem to exist.
She drove me crazy.

You know the similarity between the two girls?
She drove me crazy.

Hug a cactus, you're immediately called an idiot. People have their reasons. Hugging a cactus is painful. It has its spikes which you can't remove. Spikes which will hurt you no matter how much you want it to not hurt. People have tried their best to remove these spikes. But in the end, these can't be removed. These are spikes that have become a part of you. Spikes that are ingrained in you. But you know what? I'm willing to accept those spikes. They may hurt. People may call me stupid. But I love you. And that's all that matters.

The light will shine someday. It's something people say when they need positivity in their life. In a time of despair, they wait for that shine. That shine that will make things better. That shine that will show them towaeds the light. That shine that will make them better. I was looking for that back then. I was lost. I was sad. I was looking for a reason for things to be better. Then, I found you. Now, as you show your smile, I'm reminded that I have that shine that has shown me the light towards what is right. That beautiful, amazing smile. That smile, that shines.
